Acuero was born in 2014 from an idea of Alessandro Venuto and Ettore Vivenzio, a unique project made of ideas, enthusiasm, design and technology.
An all-Italian way of living sport and free time.
During the first match at the Padellino, historical club, they felt in love for a sport almost unknown at the time.
This is how the idea of creating a clothing line to be recognized, to dress up friends, starts out for fun, followed with the first official team: Orange Acuero Padel Team, now a A Series team.
Acuero takes inspiration from the first principle of the padel, from its inventor and the place where it was built the first camp. The padel was born in 1969 in the Acapulco home of Enrique Corcuera, he hadn’t the space for a tennis court, so a smaller sports space was built with one net in between. But in Acapulco the beach houses are built in “terraces”, that’s why there was a containment wall, and by symmetry another one was built on the opposite side. Then the “Shamrock” rackets from the USA, with whom “platform tennis” was played in California, were introduced to replace the tennis rackets with which the ball was too fast for the smaller court.
The principle on which Acuero is based is to never to take it seriously.
Acuero is joy, fun, emotion but above all passion and love for this sport.
Ettore Vivenzio is the one who continued to pursue Acuero’s dream.
Entrepreneur in the food and beverage field, great sportsman, always driven by passion, for him ACUERO IS THE PADEL.
His dream is to transfer to those who identify with his brand the incredible emotion that you can feel entering the cage, the sound of the ball hitting the glass, that mix of sounds, noises, competition, the thrill of the game, of a game that hypnotize you.
